"New Year, New Me" and Other Cliches

A few years ago I was going to create this space to post everything that comes to mind. As a blog should, right? well, I got nervous and nitpicked my words and phrasing until it lost the meaning and ended up with several drafts. Just like the amount of Manuscripts I have and never published because "what if someone hates it"
A few years ago I also bought this book "Just write one thing today" with the intentions of publishing a book on the writings from these prompts. I wrote one thing. about red shoes.
This blog might be more for me, a dumping grounds for all of the useless things I will write. and to whomever reads this, I am sorry. you are about to begin a series of raw, uncut thoughts. uncensored, nonsense.
So for now,
Just write one thing, it won't kill you.
one thing if its two words, or a sentence.
write something no matter the mood, let the words roll.
Even if you hate it, write it.
I hate new years resolutions. there are 525,600 minutes in a year times 60 you get the seconds in a year. Each second is a new opportunity to change, to get out of a situation, to create something. You are the only thing holding you back from anything. go out and get it.
But we all wait until the new year to make a resolution that we may or may not keep. We have no idea what the future holds.
